It began with trying to install WiFi printer. After resolving that bug, new bug: Bug: Brother HL-L2325DW (WiFi) “Unable to locate printer”
Installed driver tool from : [] Driver Install Tool [] Linux printer driver
hll2325dwpdrv-4.0.0-1.i386.deb
DID install drivers and it now shows up in System Settings.
Driver: Brother HLL2325DW for CUPS CONNECTION id=e3248000-80ce-11db-8000-dce99402ebd0 BUT when I try to print, ERROR: “Unable to locate printer BRWDCE99402EBD0.local”.
I can ping it.
From Brother Site (for Network Connection)
Open a web browser and go to "". Click "Modify Printer" and set following parameters. - "LPD/LPR Host or Printer" or "AppSocket/HP JetDirect" for Device - lpd://(Your printer's IP address)/binary_p1 for Device URI - Brother for Make/Manufacturer Selection - Your printer's name for Model/Driver Selection There is no “Modify Printer” option in the CUPS page
